Horseback Riding to the Hollywood Sign

I am constantly on the lookout for new adventures to feature for my show. It’s easy to dream about all the countries, national parks, and huge adventures I want to take for Monica Goes. But sometimes I just want to find a unique local adventure to mix it up and show people that you don’t have to continent hop to discover something new. I am a big fan of sites like Groupon and Living Social for ideas but when I attended the Women in Travel Summit in March I discovered a new way to find epic adventures; Mighty Mongoose.

Mighty Mongoose features some amazing adventures in some of America’s biggest cities. And they take things one step further and create entire packages like Catalina Island and Zipline excursions, airplane tours over Malibu Canyon, sunrise Hot Air Balloon rides, 2-day Niagara Falls tour from NYC, and more! They even feature FREE excursions like free ice skating in Millennial Park in Chicago, the Sam Adams Brewery Tour in Boston, and the Cable Car Museum in San Fransisco to name a few. So when I was coming up with unique things to do in L.A., a horseback ride to the hollywood sign seemed like a pretty epic adventure!

Mighty Mongoose was fantastic! They helped me book the trip and even set up a roundtrip shuttle service! Our transport showed up right on time and took us to the ranch for our ride. The experience was fantastic! They had all level of horseback riders and were very patient with everyone. It was the perfect summery of an “urban adventure”.
